Halloween!

Here, Halloween is a week long theme and I'm not talking about just shop decorations etc. Different events on different days, people dressing up every day. Actually they do the last thing pretty often anyway, so I can't blame the commercialization of Halloween on it :( crap... but still, the last week the costumes have been zombified! :D

Starting with Monday then: Fright Night at the Union a.k.a. horror movies for freeeeeeee - I just love free stuff :D who wouldn't? So we went to see the Exorcist, funnily enough a couple of weeks ago, me and Rebecca had just watched friday the 13th and after that shitloads of horror movie trailers, including the exorcist. Oh the scene where the little girl came down the stairs omfg. Highlight of the movie according to the two of us :D Imagine our disappointment, and arguments during the movie that the scene might have been in a different movie, when that scene was cut out :( It was the re-released version or whatever. But it's the second time I've gotten a totally western movie-experience. Meaning that when the first freaky scene, where the child (sorry, can't remember her name) was in her bed while it was shaking etc. Suddenly the lights were turned on. I was like, jeesh it isn't that scary you know. Then I noticed staff running around and talking into their earpieces. There was some commotion at the back and whispers were that someone had passed out. Was the movie really that scary? There were those moments when everyone was quietly staring at the screen and after that horrific tense scene had ended, everyone just relaxed and a general smalltalk began. I was staring around and screaming in my head STFU STFU! :D I miss cinemas at home, where most people can keep their emotions to themselves during the movie :D

Wednesday night was the actual Halloween night and oh was it busy at work. I loved it! :D I haven't ran around in the shop thinking I need to do this and this and that in a long time... Ems already said a bit about age checking people in costumes. Well my first customer who needed to be id-d was a ghost. He had a sheet on his head with only eyes cut out and all I could think about was: "please, have clothes on under there, because I'm going to have to ask you to take the sheet off! just please!!" Luckily it was him who made the first move (:D) and reassured me: "don't worry I'll take the sheet off" and he got his cigarets or alcohol ( I'm not a stalker and don't usually remember what people buy ok?) The second pearl of the day: :D There is one guy, who comes to our store regularly and is pretty hot to say the least :D I got the honour of serving him on Halloween. He was dressed as the Hulk, so no shirt :D yeah, nice abs dude :D His friend was a bit drunk and said he loved him (as a friend! :D ) etc and at some point asked me if he (the hottie) was a beautiful man. Awkward ;D Didn't blush though so win! :D

Ttyl ;)
Jazzz...
