Fireworks

Remember, remember the 5th of November.
Here in the UK, 5th of November is Bonfire night. The day that Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the House of Lords is now ironically (in my opinion) celebrated by blowing shit up in the sky, commonly referred to as fireworks. After learning that the town is putting on an event for that day I vowed to myself that this year I will not miss the fireworks (I don't really know what I did last year at the time but I didn't see any fireworks anywhere). Since the firework display was supposed to start at 8pm, we decided (me, Ruby and Scarlet) to meet up quarter to in town to all walk up the Constitution Hill together, to get a better look at the town and fireworks.

Guess who arrived at the meet-up point first. Me :D and I was freaking out a bit if we'll make it to the top of the hill because someone (Ruby) was late. She made the mistake of calling me before arriving and I basically shouted at her: run forest run! We made it up just in time. Not sure where the fireworks were going to be exactly, there was a chance that another mountain would be blocking the view. That would've been awesome. Not :D 8 o'clock. Nothing but an odd few small fireworks here and there. We waited and waited, the possibility that it really was happening behind that other mountain was getting more real by the minute :D Although the common sense in us assured us that if that was the case, we would at least hear it. Lets say ten minutes past or so the show began. It started quite mildly, not something spectacular but grew into a pretty decent one :) yay. About half way through the show we grew tired of it already. Not that it was bad, they even had hearts in the sky, or so I heard, for some reason at that moment I looked at something else, way to go Jazzz... :D, but we left early partly because we wanted to get down from that hill before the masses started moving and partly because, I and apparently the others as well have the attention spawn of a three year old.

Coming down was an adventure itself because of the projector light directed at the hill so that people wouldn't fall down actually made things worse. The light dazzled us and made the road harder to see or to be honest we didn't see anything at all. So we came down in single file constantly shouting Step! Step! Step! when there were steps, and there were a lot of them. Thankfully, we made it safely to the ground :D And half the time we were walking home the banging of the fireworks echoed in the air.Sounded like it was pretty nice and grande :D Very impressive for such a small town ;)

Ttyl ;)
Jazzz...
