Much needed getaway

So, since Emma is spending the weekend in London, partying it up at a friends b-day bash, drunk-texting le wild bf? ;) :D And Friday was full of nothing for us two, we thought that we'd spend it in Shrewsbury :) Oh my gosh, I think I have a town crush :D It's such a lovely lovely town, ooh la la la the architecture (don't want to offend anyone but it kinda reminds me of the typical German house architecture, better look up it's proper name :P).
We caught the 5:14 train from Aber, which I think was a bit too much. Why oh why, did we have to take the earliest train? :D PS! I went to bed at my normal time which is about 2 o'clock so yeah 2 hours of sleep, fun! :D Not mentioning the fact that we arrived at Shrew around half seven... nothing was opened, it was cold, we were hungry and sleepy :D blah blah blah, whining :P Finally found a café, were we eventually spent two hours :D Hey! it was so nice and warm :P + there wasn't much else to do anyways and we got to read the newspapers, oh god, I haven't read any newspapers in weeks... I have no idea, what's going on in the world :( Now I do, a little :D
After that a little shopping trip :D TKMaxx, Marks&Spencer and H&M :D ooh and mustn't forget l'Occitane, where they made us buy something - out of the blue they just offered us a cup of tea! And it was delicious!!! We just had to buy something now, damn them :D
Food time! I think that this pub in Shrewsbury is the first one, we've actually liked on our outings :D The food was beyond good, the prices were okay, the atmosphere was awesome + the bartender was supercute :D :) what else could you ask for. To clarify: the Manchester pub we went to before going home in June, had terrible service that took forever. In Barmouth the food was so greasy, öäk :D
Have I told you how I just love english parks? Probs not, but I do, they are just so vast and I just love walking there, and the flowers, and everything :D I just can't but it into words.
I promise I'll revisit Shrewsbury again and again and again and again :D
Right, I have to run to work now, don't want to get in trouble for being late :)
