So, Jazz has asked me to post something
for weeks. Since I still don't have the internet at home it's kinda
tricky, but I finally have time to write everything down (while doing
my laundry in halls where I lived last year) and then post it later.
Anyway...I don't know where to start. Uni has kicked off, so much fun
that we didn't have our timetables, now it's finally sorted and I
managed to get my Tuesdays off, yaay. My first day was pretty easy,
one lecture, intro as usual, lecturer had last year slides with wrong
information and the excuse was that he and his wife just had a baby,
ok, good to know. Then someone managed to get me nervous about our
Islam module, because this is going to be hell, we actually have to
study this year, lol. We even discussed changing this module, but
what the hell, we are both interested about the topic and no obstacle
is insurmountable, so we are facing our fears and hopefully won't
fail it.
And my “Find a .... “ list is
probably now final as I have a boyfriend :D And the lucky guy is the
one who Jazz was texting with and I was making jokes about them and
yeah I know, I told that it's just texting when I started to text
with him and then it was just for fun, yet we have been together for
a week now. It's kinda weird because we work together and at work he
is my supervisor. Although he has a child with another woman, which
makes things a little bit complicated, to say the least,
but we'll get through everything.
But I'm tired, tired of everything, one
of my friends said that I'm always the perfect one, the one who can
manage with her things and the one who holds everything together, but
you know what, I'm tired of that. I'm tired of the drama about his
ex, I'm tired and frustrated because we can't have the internet until
16th of November, like seriously, how is that even
possible. In Estonia, you go to the shop, you buy the thing you need,
then go home and plug it in and you have the bloody internet, but in
UK it takes more than a month to get the engineer to connect the
things, it's ridiculous. Sometimes I really don't understand why on
earth I came here, the 2 tap system, banking and checkbooks and all
the other aged stuff and I believed that it's not possible to go back
in time, well, now I know that it is indeed.
Ems
PS! Hopefully Jazz will entertain you
while I'm lost in the british bureaucracy.
Perfect remark about the life in UK and comparing it to time travel!
