Last Sunday (yes I do know that I'm a bit behind in writing these entries) was Estonia's birthday also known as the Independence Day. YAY we're 95 years old!!! :) The local Estonians here in Aber decided to make a traditional Estonian feast and party in honor of it Saturday evening. Unfortunately me and Emma were both working and couldn't attend the entire party. Bummer, we missed all that delicious food! Yeap food is my main concern. To be honest I do not really know how i survive here, haven't cooked a proper meal for myself in ages. Ready meals ftw! Maybe that's why my immune system isn't as strong as it was before, I'm simply not getting all the necessary vitamins to fight the common flu :(
Anyway, Ems got a text after work that the party people are still in the cafe and would be there for at least another hour. Food time :D So we decided to join - before that obviously went home to change. Arrived there like half past eleven and saw that they're cleaning. -.- That means no food :( I was gutted. We decided to walk in and greet everybody since we were there already and the first thing Ruby said to me was that if I please could take all the leftovers back to my fridge since I live opposite the cafe. Oh yeah of course epic win :D Haven't had a decent potato salad since forever and now I have two :D Me and Ems grabbed both of the salads and made our escape to my place where we decided to watch the Estonian Eurovision semi-finals that were on the same day. Felt like home :)
BUT, I still have half a bowl of that salad left :D HAHA and I've gotten so sick of it already :D everyday I'm eating it! :P LOL
Basically the conclusion of the party for me and Ems: walk in late say Hi to some people, grab the food and go home with it :) Or am I the only one finding it funny? :D ;)
Ttyl ;)
Jazzz...
