You people!
So another post about my management module which is just like... I don't even know... why just why is all I have to say at the moment. Last Monday in the second part (no second attendance sheet thankfully) he made us split into 5 groups and come up with a survey about any topic we wanted. Since there are at least a hundred of us in that lecture the groups were enormous, 20 people -.- He justified it by saying he wants to see the group dynamic because when us people someday have jobs were gonna have to work in big groups and do research and blah blah blah, well duh, obviously someone has to be the leader and organise everything, obviously it wasn't me also :D I was just dying there, because it's not that hard to come up with a survey jeesh. So sat there for half an hour, agreed to everything that was said and contributed one question. The least I could do. I do not feel ashamed since when I have a job that requires doing some kind of research everyone basically knows their job positions or something, someone is pointed to be in charge or am I being to naive? Don't really care either way at the moment. At the end of the class each group had to present their survey -.- Luckily our group was so organised that we had three volunteer presenters (not me) and the whole group didn't have to go in front of the class to stand there awkwardly and refuse to say anything creating more awkwardness. People were literally shaking their head and making surprised noises when the sheet of presumably their group survey got into their hands and they were expected to say something. How hard it is to read one question from the page and then pass it on to the next person. Mission Impossible for some. Though seeing the reactions was funnny :D in an evil way of course.
Today he wanted us people to do a focus group discussion -.- omfg here we go again... I was impatiently waiting for the break to make my escape, I had my stuff packed and coat on already for 10 minutes or so, when one group announced that they were going to discuss their topic outside of the lecture hall and voilĂ , I'm in that group! So ran out after them and when they all started to sit down and discuss whatever they had to I was like Freak this, I'm out beees and darted for the door. Later I heard other people wanted to do the same but they were a bit late and the lecturer actually followed them out and made them take part in the discussion LOL, amateurs :D
Our lecturers favourite parasite phrase is you people. You people have to do this, when you people get a job, what do you people think, you people are going to need this, I need to know the topics from you people etc etc etc. I find it kind of offensive. I don't even know why but I cringe every time he says that and boy can he say that a lot in a lecture.

When the timetable for semester came out, freaking late if I may say so, like a couple of days before the lectures actually began. I had my seminar listed to 5pm on Mondays, then for some reason I checked my timetable again this Friday and guess what. They've changed that to noon on Mondays, when I have my French oral class and I actually like that group!!! Everything was starting to go well for you Jazzz? Yeah well not anymore! Haha. I can actually imagine someone laughing uncontrollably. -.- So wrote a frantic letter to my French teacher and asked to join another group this week, to attend the seminar. Big mistake...
Arrived on time to find the big computer room were our seminar was meant to be held almost full with strange faces doing strange uni stuff and most of them the same thing. Is there another lecture here or what? The familiar faces from my lecture were just standing there same as me with confusion like what the hell is going on. This is the right time and room for our seminar right?? No??? Found a couple of computers, might as well log in. So ten minutes passed... Shouldn't the lecturer be here? Someone just farted, I think I'm going to puke. Honestly that's disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!! My eyes filled up with water! Legit, I'm not making this up! Well this is awkward and disgusting (at the same time funny because the person next to me was a petite girl and we didn't know where the smell came from :D) and I could be in French right now... Eventually the lecturer strolls in. Turns out he forgot to book the room so there were random students as well. Great management skills for a management lecturer... ( just a mean side note, no offence). The rest of the seminar we created an account in surveymonkey and started doing a survey. Anything you wanted... I am perfectly capable of learning how to use internet pages at home by myself and asking help if neede thank you very much. Signed the attendance sheet and walked out (the seminar was over by that time anyway, at least according to the time). What a waste of time...
Needless to say I'm not looking forward to the 2 2,500 word essays in that module...
