London

The day after THE VOTE London was buzzing! News channels had set up camp in Westminster and protesters had gathered around them. Protesting against Brexit, Boris Johnson, racist borders, David Cameron etc. Other than that area London was actually pretty peaceful and quiet :) Finally I got to stroll around aimlessly and enjoy the city + the weather was just superb - sunny with a nice breeze, had our lunch in a park etc.

Look at this adorable little house in the middle of London!

Traffic jam

There was also Gay parade at the time we were there. We did try to get away from the crowds (Oxford st - Trafalgar square) and maybe that's why the rest of London seemed quiet... Maybe it always is if you just know where to go for that :D. We did end up at Trafalgar square for the red arrows and we made it just in time: we were just at the end of the Mall nearly under the Arch when they flew past. Luckily they do make a sound to warn that they are coming and I was quick enough to get my camera out :) (Mr. Special didn't :D ). And we also saw the end of the parade then. I admit for some reason I was expecting it to be much more extravagant, something more than just guys in pink shirts dancing on double deckers... I don't know.... Obviously Brexit was mentioned on placards here as well.
