Nearly done

So sad :( this academic year has gone by so quickly and as usual with me I haven't grabbed every opportunity possible and not used my full potential :( I am trying though, occasionally...

The end of the semester has actually come quite surprisingly - my exams are at the end of May but lectures are slowly finishing one by one :S what am I supposed to do here til then? The past couple of weeks I've been busy, done my exams, homework (translations and learning a corsican story by heart - still not quite sure what it's about :/) and I just couldn't be bothered to drag myself out to enjoy the sun - see the other aber girl has left now so there isn't actually anyone who would force me to do something - although yesterday at the supermarket (where you always see someone you know - I once literally tried to avoid on guy just because I didn't want him to see what crap I was buying lol, that was funny because I had to be at the supermarket longer than needed all just because I'm a socially awkward penguin) one of my acquaintances actually asked - where have I disappeared to - yay someone cares :D Also the fact that I can't be bothered to top up my french number that now has been blocked doesn't help being sociable... oh well...

Anyway the summer has crept up on me, it's soooooooooo warm outside already!!!!! I hope to go by the river tomorrow to catch some sun (hopefully not burn, some people already have a nice tan - jeeesh I should get out more...).

I have a huge french test in two weeks that will tell me my level... hopefully it's not too low lol because I'm already really dreading next year because I don't think my french has improved that much and my tutor will be mad at me :D

Talking about next year: we had to do our provisional registration and everything did not go smoothly :D quite usual for Aber in my opinion, see the tourism course had been moved from IBERS department to the school of business and management in my second year and now the system on which I had to confirm my provisional registration had a big error : You should've previously taken this module if you want to take that one next year!!!!! Closer inspection showed that I had taken the prerequisite in my first year but it had a different code since it was in a different department and furthermore it was a core module so I couldn't change it even if I wanted to :D Rebecca sent some e-mails asking about and explaining everything properly and basically got nowhere, I sent a vague panic letter I don't know what's wrong, help and voila by Friday my provisional registration was somehow completed but Rebecca's wasn't :D Oh aber, they always assume that we are stupid and don't know what to do if you give them too much information about the problem, so I always dumb it down when I have a problem with something forcing them to look into it and figure out what the problem is - even if I know what it is ;) Good news too - for the first time I actually have 2 french optional modules meaning I can coose!!!! wow, one of them being language of business that was optional (no other choice though) last year and the second: travel and litterature in france. I took the second one although it looks like far more work but it is in semester 1, meaning I can take a tourism optional module in semester 2 and keep my semester workloads balanced.

Ttyl ;)
Jazzz...
