Music time

OMG I initially posted this two days earlier :D That just shows how stressed I am with everything lol don't know even what day it is anymore. And today I almost forgot... :(

Hey y'all time for another bimonthly music and unfortunately I have to say I don't have any new discoveries this time round coz I've listened to all of them for at least a month now :D

First a crush to a song that I haven't had a loooong time. I just keep this one on replay at all times + it has a nice 90s vibe to it so it reminds me of my childhood :D :
Blonde - I loved you

Next is the song that comes on the radio and I love it but I never actually got round to listening to it on my own:
Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants

Now an awesome uplifting song :)

Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk

Nabiha - Animals

And this years Estonian Eurovision Song that I LOVE, I'd heard it before on the radio but would never in a million years guessed that it was an estonian song. Seriously and I'm so happy it won our national selection this year (the other songs were bleh, seriously this was the only one I liked)

Stig & Elina - Goodbye to Yesterday

Living in Fear

Yesterday, when I came home, Mr. Special looked at me with a worried face and carefully asked me if I'd seen/read the news. I hadn't so I asked what's up. Apparently a Russian bomber had to escorted from the UK airspace. And now the bombshell drops: he told me not to get upset, because, because some British politician had said that the Baltic States are next on Russia's hitlist. He was genuinely worried. (he had the same look about him when I finally released him from his toilet/prison cell a couple of weeks ago).

Turns out he had thought long and hard how to break this surprising and devastating news to me. Had already arranged in his head a plan how to get all of my family to the UK if push comes to shove and then looked at me with horror in his face: "What if you get sent to some kind of a concentration camp?!?!?!?!"

Hold your horses now!!! :D First of all this is not "news" to me. I've grown up knowing that the Baltic States "will be next". History and all that you know... In reality obviously no one thinks it'll happen but I'm pretty sure no one would be surprised at that... I remember about 6 years ago when the Foreign Minister came to our school to give a talk on what he does etc, followed by a question round. And obviously the question "What are we going to do when Russia attacks us?" came up. School kids know these things, and have known it for years and years. I don't really know where it comes from though because obviously we don't think about it during our everyday lives :D or worry about making plans how to escape or survive just in case :D

But you know. In the back of your head you know this.

The threat is more real now, but if the NATO and UN and whatever other organisations we are members of do their part. The Baltic States should be just fine :) Have faith in the future :)

Phantom cats

You can tell that I'm a bit obsessed when everytime something's a bit peculiar I immediately think what has the cat done now?! :D Although I hadn't had a cat for the last four years. I want, no I need a kittykat :D

The latest "incident" happened when I came home one day, stepped into the living room and I could smell a peculiar smell. The first thing I thought about was that the stupid cat peed somewhere!!! Then I realised that I don't have a cat, and found out that it's indeed the daffodils that I bought a couple of days ago that smell like that :D Yay it's daffodil season :)

A couple of years ago I was sitting on the floor leaning on the sofa watching some film or something. Suddenly something moved behind me and I immediately dismissed thinking it was the cat. Then almost had a heart attack because I don't have a cat!!! I had totally forgotten that Ruby had come to my house since she was sleeping so quietly on the sofa :D

On another note I saw a tv-show of people who hoarded animals :D OMG An actual cat-lady with 50 cats lives somewhere in this country. She is my idol :D And suddenly my future became clear ;) She has some financial troubles (kitties need feeding you know) but luckily she has a couple good looking pure breeds who she then mates etc. The trouble is the kitties are so cute she doesn't have the heart to sell them :D I love her :)
